DBDS Virtual Dance Competition!

Don’t miss out on this fun, exciting opportunity!  This is your chance to choreograph your own dance, chose your own costume or outfit, pick your song, pick the genre and where you will perform your creation!

Open to all DBDS dancers and best of all, it is FREE!!!

Kara McCartney, an accomplished studio owner, choreographer and adjudicator who lives in Northern Ireland (and is also my sister!) has graciously offered to be the judge for our VIRTUAL DANCE COMPETITION.

Rules and Regulations:

1.       Dances will be judged in age categories – Mini Stars – ages 3-6; Starlites ages 7-10, Dazzlers and Stars – Ages  11+

2.       Any genre goes!!!  Solos only (unless you do a duet/trio/group with people in your immediate family.  In the event of duets/trios etc., age will be determined by the average age)

3.       Dances should be 1 – 1.5 minutes long

4.       Be creative! Film anywhere!

5.        Judging will be based on:

a.         Technique

b.       Performance

c.        Presentation

Prizes will be awarded to the winners and prizes will be…..??? A surprise!   Winning routines will be posted on our YouTube channel with permission of the dancers/parents.
