Comp Team Auditions for the 2026-2027 Teams

 

DBDS Competitive Team Auditions are coming up!

Interested in competition dance? Whether you're new to the competitive world or looking to learn more about our programs, we'd love to see you! With over 30 years of dance education experience, our team is dedicated to providing a positive, inspiring, and educational environment for every dancer.

Wednesday June 10th - 12 Douglas Rd UNit 1 Uxbridge

Minis (4–7): 6:00–6:30 PM

Primary (7–10): 6:30–7:15 PM

Junior/Inter (10–13): 7:15–8:00 PM

Seniors (13+): 8:00–8:45 PM

Current team members are welcome to join us for a class but are not required to attend. Come discover what competitive dance at DBDS is all about!

Tuesday June 9^th – Open Class Schedule – a great opportunity to try a new dance form, get on another technique class before the summer off, or bring a friend to dance with you!

6:00- 6:45        Jazz Class – ages 7-10

6:45-7:30         Contemporary/Modern Class – ages 10+

7:30- 8:15        Jumps and Turns – ages 10+

 

Wednesday June 10^th – Comp Team Auditions

This is for students who are new to competition, interested in finding out more about competition, and interested in trying out for our comp programs. Students already on teams, do not need to attend but are more than welcome to come our for a class!

6:00 -6:30 – Minis – ages 4-7

6:30-7:15 – Primary –ages 7-10

7:15 – 8:00 – Junior/Inter – ages 10-13

8:00- 8:45 – Seniors – ages 13+

Thursday June 11^th and Friday June 12^th – studio closed

 

Saturday June 13 (almost our regular schedule, any dancers are welcome to attend classes at their age and level)

The Talent Room and AMDA Showcase

 Our performance teams are off to a great start! We have had two events - The Talent Room in Georgetown and the AMDA Showcase in Ajax.  Our dancers performed wonderfully!
